International Friendship Day

In promoting the noble values upheld by the International University, as part of its cultural, intellectual, and knowledge project, foremost among them the value of friendship, the community responsibility and sustainability coordination at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences celebrated International Friendship Day on the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 2025. They organized a distinguished program that embodied the values of brotherhood and human connection, attended by the esteemed President of the University, the Dean of the Faculty, its Vice Dean, several members of the University Council, and a large number of faculty members and administrators. Ilham Dabbou delivered a valuable lecture titled “Friendship: A Bridge for Understanding and Peace,” in which she highlighted the importance of friendship in building cohesive communities and its role in promoting dialogue and mutual respect. The celebration included speeches that elevated the value of friendship among people and its role in enhancing social relationships. Despite the tremendous development in electronic communication means, the value of friendship and direct communication remains an indispensable feeling and principle. As part of the activities, a cultural competition was held among the attendees, witnessing significant interaction from the audience, contributing to a spirit of enthusiasm and friendly competition, as well as enhancing general knowledge and shared culture.
