Organized by the “Your Iftar is on Us, Their Eid is on You” Team
In alignment with its commitment to social responsibility, its mission to root noble values, and its dedication to fostering character development and supporting positive initiatives, the Libyan International Medical University (LIMU) hosted a charitable community Iftar yesterday evening, Sunday, the 25th of the holy month of Ramadan (March 15, 2026).
This marks the second consecutive year the university has hosted this event, which was organized by the volunteer team “Your Iftar is on Us, Their Eid is on You.”
A Community United in Giving
The event saw active participation from LIMU students and staff, alongside various institutions, organizations, and local business owners. This annual volunteer initiative is driven by the youth of Benghazi to promote:
- The values of benevolence and charity.
- Healthy competition in extending a helping hand to those in need.
- Compassion, solidarity, and mutual support among the people of our vibrant city.
Benghazi Celebrates the Month of Goodness
This gathering comes as Benghazi beautifully celebrates the month of the Quran unlike any other city. Its streets have been beautifully decorated and its squares filled with joy, welcoming this month of blessings and generosity.
A profound spirit of cooperation prevailed throughout this charitable gathering, all working toward the ultimate goal of this noble initiative: spreading joy and bringing the happiness of Eid to everyone’s hearts.
